  For the price: Wait staff inattentive; food was NOT good or fresh (the salad tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for days); wait time unacceptable for being the only patrons in the restaurant; staff hanging out and talking; don't usually do this and from out of town; but will NOT be returning.

  I first want to start by saying I have always had amazing experiences here. And that the actual meal was amazing!!! I suggested to a group of close friends to come with us to the bistro. I quickly regretted my suggestion. It had been over 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged. No water for over 10 minutes. The other server in our section was on his A game though. Also disappointing that the manager or owner who normally talks to us when my father-in-law is with us, literally went to every other table (4 to be exact) and greeted them. Made eye contact with a few at our table and walked straight by. Being nice I said to myself "maybe he is busy". He continued to other sections and talked to many other tables. We are a group of young, hard working, money making, exceptional tippers I might add. Pretty disappointed.

  Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. When we walked in and were asked how many in our party (6) the response was "umm...we'll see what we can do". Should have taken that has a hint. We were escorted to the top section where there were plenty of tables open with no reservation tags so I'm not sure where that comment came from. We sat unattended to for at least 5+ min. We barely saw our server all night. Each step took far longer than it should have. Although I did notice an older gentleman who was serving that looked like he was rocking his tables. Definitely wish we got him as a server. Each time we said thank you to the server or the food runner we got no response. Just a cold shoulder. The food was the best part. I will say that cook has talent. It was amazing. For me that's not enough to make it a good experience. The worst part of the whole night was that the owner/manager came around and introduced himself to all 4 of the tables around us EXCEPT ours and continued to other parts of the restaurant. Pretty sure it's because everyone in my party was in their 20s. But wait about 20 min later a new party came to the upper level and the gentleman came back up to shake their hands as well and introduce himself but skipped our table again. I'm not a fan of being skipped or prematurely judged. My husband still gave a tip over 20% because that is who he is but that's without saying we will NEVER come back and we will be sure to spread the word of our experience. I went to USC for hospitality school and I have served, ran food, etc. and I've never seen or experienced such poor service.
